Her posture conveys a mixture of serenity and vulnerability, as if for a moment she had stopped protecting herself from the world.
What remains is an invitation to contemplate intimacy from another perspective.
No artifice. No explanations. Only the beauty of existing in our own skin.
NYX — THE DARKNESS THAT DWELLS WITHIN ME
Not all darkness is an absence of light.
A female figure emerges from a black background, enveloped in golden strokes that seem to move around her.
Her face remains hidden. She does not seek to be recognized, but felt.
Inspired by Nyx, the goddess of the night in Greek mythology, this work explores the duality between shadow and light, the visible and what we choose to keep.
Nyx is a tribute to that part of us that does not need to show itself to have strength.
CHAOS
There are emotions that do not need a form to exist.
Amidst layers of ochre, black, and gray, a figure emerges that seems to be building itself and unraveling at the same time.
The brushstrokes clash, overlap, and leave scars on the surface. A red line cuts across the composition like a wound, but also like a sign of life.
Chaos speaks of that moment when something inside us breaks to make way for a new way of being.
A work about transformation and the beauty of imperfection.
